Our Farm
We believe in farming that nourishes not just people, but also the planet.

By prioritizing the health of our lands and waters, we aim to preserve natural resources while enhancing local food systems. The result is high-quality produce and thoughtfully crafted packaged goods that we proudly provide to our local community and restaurants.

Every season is beautiful at Tap Root Fields, and land management during the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter is critical to maintaining the soil to create the very best growing environments.

SPRING
A time when the farm starts to come to life. We begin planting new crops, tending to young seedlings, and harvesting early greens. It’s a time of fresh starts and laying the groundwork for the seasons ahead.

SUMMER
The farm hits its stride. Fields are full, harvests are daily, and crops like tomatoes, strawberries, and peppers are in abundance. It’s a busy, vibrant time of growth, hard work, and plenty.

FALL
A time of abundance and reflection. We gather the final harvests, celebrate the season’s work, and begin preparing the soil for rest. Cooler days bring root veggies like potatoes and onions, hearty greens, and a slower rhythm on the farm.

WINTER
We put the farm to sleep and shift our focus to building, assessing infrastructure needs, and preparing for the year ahead. It’s a time to reflect, plan for new crops and expansion, and put what we’ve learned into action.
